There are 4 grade schoolers and a toddler living at 1402 W 8th. Several residents in Waterman push strollers. A blind man and his service dog walk to/from his home on West 8th. Drivers occasionally reach 50 mph on 8th street. A "slow children" sign might slow them down.
People absolutely FLY down our road (west 8th). Multiple family pets have been hit and kids are always trying to play outside but have to worry about cars not paying attention. Speed bumps need to be put in.
This sign stand has been here for over a year. It used to have an End Construction sign on it, but some one has apparently taken it.
Is there a way to level Allen St from the stop sign back about 50 feet at the Bloomfield Rd intersection? The slope causes accidents and near accidents. We've had 3 cars in our yard since we've been there. We've had to fix up the chain link fence best we could. In 2 situations, our gas meter was hit, which is a serious hazard. Alternatively, could Bloomfield Rd be made inaccessible from Allen St (either a one way or block it off)? Thank you for reading this. Sincerely, Theo
The Stop Ahead sign on Indiana Ave between 3rd and 4th is missing. The sign post is still there, but I noticed the sign is gone. This is right by the front steps to the Law School.
Is it possible to put a "no U-turn" sign with the left turn signal on northbound Walnut at the bypass intersection? Now that the eastbound bypass lanes have a green right turn arrow, I've seen several (and been involved in one) near misses of people in the left turn lane doing U-turns and nearly hitting those turning southbound onto Walnut with their green arrow. Thanks for your consideration.
Southbound on Dunn, at 6th St: tree needs trimming, stop sign obscured
Traffic headed south on Washington is no longer forced to stop. Street parking on the northwest corner of the intersection makes it dangerous for cross traffic to pull through the intersection on 6th. There are bound to be accidents.
I think there is no street sign on 3rd St for Johnson Dr. Also, why are there "No Outlet" signs on Johnson & Kimble? Usually these mean the same as "Dead End" - that you can only come out the street you went in. This is not the case. I was heading west, going to Valhalla. I thought I was at Johnson Ave, but did not see a street sign, and the "No Outlet" sign made me think it was not Johnson. Soon came Kimble, so we turned in there and were surprised to see a "No Outlet" sign there, too.
