Catalent's new construction is ~ 24/7 this results in near-constant beeping from the backup warning on their equipment. Today, the beeping was going at 6am , it runs to ~ 10 pm; including on Saturday and Sunday. Isn't this in violation of the noise regulations in town?
Catalent has installed some kind of audio bird scaring device on their roof. It's loud and obnoxious, and can be heard from a long way away.
Numerous fire extringuishers are nearing a month past their expiry date.
When Bruce's Welding was granted permission to build at their present location, part of the approval included "no outdoor storage". Over the years, the accumulation of "stuff" has grown. The recent addition of steel beams to the steel stairs along North Adams Street indicates that this business needs a reminder of the agreement.
A business has moved into the former Sterling Glass building at this address. They have placed a large blue dumpster on the lawn at the west edge of their property. According to 20.05.067 of the UDO this dumpster is supposed to be enclosed and on pavement. The property is zoned CG.
"Dear Mr. Hamilton, As my council representative has been ineffective and unsuccessful in dealing with this problem, I am calling on your office for help. For over two years the resident of 1316 South Palmer Avenue has been running a used car lot at his house. There are usually no less than six cars parked in front of his house and across the street from his house at any one time. At least one or two usually have no plates. In addition, his yard is a total mess. He doesn't care about the trash that accumulates in it. If this were a problem in Elm Heights, it would have been taken care of in one day. I understand that one can sell a car from one's property, but this man needs to find a lot that is zoned for selling multiple used cars, and move his business to that place. Please help in moving this used car lot from our street. It is an eye sore and it brings down my property value. Abandoned Elevator factory. I would like to see the building be turned into a museum in honor of the many people that worked there building some of the greatest elevators and escalators of all times. One elevator product that may have been built there was the Otis Lexan elevator. I have some friends who film these things and love the Otis Lexan. And now since many of the Otis Lexan elevators are being ripped out, my friends feel quite saddened. So if you can, please see if you can make a museum out of this in honor of one of the best elevators of all time. My friends would love you if you did. IN a way, it would be like a memorial to the Lexan line at Otis elevator company. Greyhound even has service going from St. Louis to Bloomington and the service would bring all sorts of elevator enthusiasts to the museum.
The noise from Organized Living (or Catalent, I'm not sure which one) is so loud I can hear it in every room with a window in my apartment well past 10 pm nightly (even past 2-3 am). The only places it is not audible are the bathrooms and closets with the doors closed. Is there anything that can be done about this?

The massage parlor at 1355 W Bloomfield Rd, Suite C, seems a bit suspicious. The girls there are difficult to communicate with, and all the customers are men. While I was getting a massage, I overheard strange noises coming from other rooms. When I finished and walked out, I accidentally noticed a customer handing a girl a $100 tip. My masseuse also demanded $40 for a mediocre half-hour massage. They’ve been promoting themselves on these websites: pakedatepage.com, skip the games.com, adult fantacy.com, maybe more. The whole place felt off, and I suspect they might be offering more than just massages.
