This is my second official noise complaint against Juannita's Mexican Restaurant, located at 620 W. Kirkwood Ave. Bloomington, IN 47404. The restaurant staff uses outdoor speakers to play music that can be heard outside property lines--I live across the street and can hear this music in my living room and bedroom, at times clearly enough for it to disrupt my sleep. I have complained directly to Juannita's management by phone, email, and in person on several occasions, to no lasting avail. Last May, I submitted a uReport regarding this issue and received a prompt and professional response from Jason Carnes, the Assistant Director of Small Business Relations. Mr. Carnes reached out to the Juannita's manager with a warning about the City’s noise ordinance, which seemed to be effective for a time. However, the music has recently become a problem again. I am a graduate student at IU, and dreading the prospect of facing another school year of being unable to concentrate or relax in my living space. Please let me know what further steps I can take to hold my neighbors accountable for this noise violation. Thank you, Kaitlin Mackenzie
I'm starting a new cleaning business & I was wondering if I need a licenses for passing out flyers in the city restrictions!
Zoning violation 3905 w Nelson lane business open on some Saturdays
Anthony’s pets at the college mall does not care for their animals at all. They are kept in small cages filled with their own urine and feces. All of the animals look malnourished and unhealthy. I have seen videos of puppies having seizures because of the conditions they are kept in and the drugs they are being poisoned with. Please help these animals
This business is abusing the animals they’re trying to sell.
Anothony’a Pets in the Bloomington college mall buys their animals from illegal breeders/dogs farms in Martin Co. and other counties close to Monroe. The animal should live with either paper bedding or no bedding at all which results in them sleeping on cold grates. Not only should the purchasing of animals in this way be illegal as the breeding is, but these animals suffer from inhumane treatment which the owner of this establishment profits off of.
Anthony’s Pet Shop in College Mall mistreats their animals, allowing them to live in extremely inadequate cages, puts their animals on unsafe steroids and has a very unsanitary environment for their animals they’re selling. Many animals have been purchased with customers unaware of the animal having parvovirus as well as many other illnesses.
Anthonys Pets
Shut down Anthony’s pets. A video on Twitter is going viral or a puppy that is very low malnutrition. Every time I’ve gone there the animals seem neglected and not cared for correctly.
