Not really a problem, just thought I would tell you that you left a traffic cone on the curb near 2nd and Woodlawn. Thought you might want it before some undergrad thought it was a cool thing to own.
Bikes lanes near the patterson point construction are covered in rocks and other construction debris, most the rocks are big enough to pose a serious hazard to cycists
this morning i was walking downtown. i was crossing from the "chase bank" corner to the "the tap" corner & the device that is supposed to indicate walk or wait isn't working. the screen was just black.
Fess is a good bike route, but the pavement in this area is so deteriorated that it is dangerous. This is especially true under the railroad overpass because the sudden change from light to shadow makes it almost impossible to see the defects in the pavement.
Just past Woodlawn in the Southdowns bicycle/pedestrian lane the is a ~10x3 foot asphalt patch probably covering some utility work. The north side of has opened a 2 inch gap in which grass is growing. This makes 10 foot long slot and the front wheel of my bike got caught in the slot causing me to fall this morning. I was not injured but this slot is a clear hazard.
Not new Lane but requesting bike symbols painted again soon in Park Ridge East to make folks aware and slow down. Great new surface but don't want a highway!! Is residential.
A plastic drain cover in my front sidewalk is missing at 710 E. Maxwell Lane. Someone will break their ankle on this if it is not repaired. I reported this some time back and nothing happened. Thank You.
