The corner of Moores Pike and Claris currently has flashing Yellow lights to help pedestrians cross Moores Pike. Drivers view yellow lights as a call to speed up not Stop. I walk there frequently but cars seldom slow or stop Sometimes the cars speed up, either to beat the light or to run over me. Perhaps it would help to change the lights to red which means Stop. Or install a regular stop light. Also, at the Southeast corner of Hillside Dr and College Mall Rd. The crossing light turns on when the vehicles turn right from Sare Rd onto Hillside Dr. This is very dangerous for the pedestrian since the corner is not visible to the cars turning right. See closed case #184736: in front of Mother Bear's on E Third Street. The metal drain cover on the sidewalk again has fallen in and is a tripping hazard for pedestrians. Maybe it is time to look for a more permanent solution rather than just putting it back in its place.

The metal drain cover in front of Mother Bear's at 1428 E Third Street has fallen in (again). It clearly is not stable and one day someone may trip over it.

1. one-way sign on SW corner is obstructed by pole-saw someone turn right off Atwater yesterday. 2. Can walk symbol flash across Atwater (south side) regardless of if someone hits the button? It's same pedestrians as Indiana/3rd intersection, and that one always shows "walk." Feels safer if they had the same behavior! Thanks :)

There are low areas from the pavement that are ackward and present safety concerns for walkers and joggers facing traffic while heading S on this narrow road way so, clean fill dirt is being requested that can more closely match the height of the roadway and make it safer to step aside when necessary without a significant danger of loosing ones balance.or causing an accident by an abnormal roadway height difference as the roadway shoulder more closely needs to matched to the asphalt height.

We just received an email at IU saying that we should be using the sidewalk on 10th st from the bypass to range rd in our kubota and other atv's. This seems completely wrong, and at odds with encouraging biking and walking in an already troubled area. Please advise if there is an official policy on this.
