Two LED fixtures were recently installed at this intersection, both on the east side of Walnut, one north of 12th and the other south of 12th. They are *very* bright. Is it possible to swap them out with a lower wattage? We do see others in the neighborhood that appear to be dimmer and don't cast so much harsh light onto neighboring properties. It would be a relief if these were also more resident-friendly.

200735 just entered this ticket and can see it open but cannot add to it. There are four street lights not working that are on the west side of the street including mine. You can clearly see this is not fixed.

I filed a complaint well over a month ago about the street light that is not working in front of the house. When repairs were done to the side walks in October, the light was disconnected and just left unconnected, with the glass dome hanging at the top of light. Clearly you can see it’s not working by that alone. I submitted a ticket 200127. Today I received notification that the light was fixed. I was also told by Christina Smith to contact her if it is not. I don’t know how I am supposed to contact her when there is no email or phone on the notification, and it comes from a no reply email. The light is not working now going on over four months. Please send someone out to fix it tired of waiting as it’s a safety hazard as well.

There is a series of about eight decorative street lights (green metal, antique style) in the ROW that stretch from 411 N. Lincoln to 523 N. Lincoln along the west side of the street. They are similar to ones down near the Grant Street Inn. Several of them have been broken off near the base and all but one of them (the one in front of 411) are burned out. If they are not being used, maybe they should be removed because it's a pain to mow around them.

The back of our house was broken into a couple of nights ago (all doors locked and while we were all home) and we feel as though if the back alley was more lit up it may have deterred the suspect from approaching our home. There was also a very similar situation of an attempted break in last week two houses down from ours. It is extremely dark in the alley, especially with the wooded area being back there - perfect for people to hide in. We would feel a lot safer if lights could be installed asap. Thank you.

In light of a lot of recent attempted home invasion activity along this block, having street lights in the alley between 10th and Cottage Grove is a necessary safety measure. It is incredibly dark in the alley and a perfect target for home invasions.
