A street light fell down more than two weeks ago and is still lying beside the street. It’s very dark and not safe at night in this area. When will the light be replaced?
Streetlight is out, no lights from houses in the area so it is extremely dark at night.
Fallen limb hanging from electrical line feeding the street light on Fifth St.
Street light in front of 1131 W 8th is out or intermittent.
Street light at bus stop in front of Boys & Girls Club is out.
Street lights on the south side of Kirkwood from Washington to Grant are not on
Street light at the bend of Sugarberry Ct (between 1146 and 1150 W Sugarberry Court) goes on and off intermittently. I believe (but may be wrong) that this is a private light belonging to Duke Energy.
Please refer to uReport case #182390. There is an identical problem with the overhead street lamp at Washington/Cottage Grove and also the one at the intersection of Lincoln/Cottage Grove, that being that the lamp is an harsh, intense, ultraviolet-like purple color that is glaring and makes it difficult to see. It is a hazard and an annoyance. Please replace these lamps with normal, soft-light sodium lamps to match the others in the neighborhood. This is not just an issue of unsightly appearance - the lamps really are a hazard, as both drivers and pedestrians at night need to shade their eyes at the intersections.
Hi Chris, we got some shoes on the wires. Not sure if this is Duke issue or COB. It looks like just a guide wire.
