This light was first reported inoperable on August 21st. It's a Duke light and the City notified Duke. Duke came out and put a ribbon on it. I did a second report to the City. Duke's response: in needed more time. I did this drill last year. It took about 3 months. Surely the City has a standard for the contract with Duke. If not, we need one. This is the only street light on my street. Last August when it was out, my guest's car was rifled and some items were stolen. I ask that people dos their job and provide the service we deserve. Thank you.

Streetlight at the intersection of 2nd Street and South Walker Street is not functioning properly. I was forced to make a right hand turn as the light refused to turn green. I sat and watched the timer on the crosswalk allowing people to walk across. Count down to zero. While waiting at this light, I also had another vehicle approach for behind and sit behind me while I sat through a another cycle and it still did not change from red. This needs to be fixed. I have also noticed many of the lights around town require a vehicle in the straight away lane. When you are making a left hand turn in the left turn lane. There is no reason there are no sensors for the left turn lane on many of the streets in Bloomington.
One example of these streets is West Gifford road turning left onto Curry Pike. If it is 2:00 in the morning and I'm in the left turn lane and there will not be a another vehicle in the straight away lane, then there needs to be a sensor that allows the light to turn green. Even though there's no vehicle in the straight away lane left turn lane signal that actually register you are there are important too!

The left turn arrow does not activate for vehicles on north-bound Madison Street turning west onto 17th. I have experienced this issue for many months, and have witnessed others not activating the left turn arrow. Also, it appears that the light, itself, is twisted to slightly face south east, rather than due south.
It might be a good idea to repaint the stop indicator lines, as well.

Hello,
I had submitted a street light out (Rogers Street and Smith Avenue) and was told it was fixed. I have been out of town and noticed this morning that it was still not on. My address is 346 S. Rogers St. and this light is just south of me.
Thanks,
Jim
