The street light at the corner of East Azalea Lane and Highland is not working.
I am emailing on behalf of a fraternity property at Indiana University-Bloomington. Sigma Alpha Epsilon has 6 parking light poles which are not auto-illuminating as they should at night. I've contacted Duke Energy, and I was told to contact the City of Bloomington Utilities as your office would need to initiate some form of a service request to have them turned on. Again, this property is on IU's campus. Therefore, I'm trying to determine who is the proper entity, office and/or person to contact. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Street light at corner of 1st and Hawthorne is out.
The streetlight is out at E. Azalea Lane and Highland Ave.
The street at the intersection of Meadow Lane and O’Brien Place has been working only sporadically recently. It’s often very dim, and it’s not lit at all at the moment.
Light is out it's dark and dangerous
Street lights on the south side of Kirkwood from Washington to Grant are not on
Street light at the bend of Sugarberry Ct (between 1146 and 1150 W Sugarberry Court) goes on and off intermittently. I believe (but may be wrong) that this is a private light belonging to Duke Energy.
Please refer to uReport case #182390. There is an identical problem with the overhead street lamp at Washington/Cottage Grove and also the one at the intersection of Lincoln/Cottage Grove, that being that the lamp is an harsh, intense, ultraviolet-like purple color that is glaring and makes it difficult to see. It is a hazard and an annoyance. Please replace these lamps with normal, soft-light sodium lamps to match the others in the neighborhood. This is not just an issue of unsightly appearance - the lamps really are a hazard, as both drivers and pedestrians at night need to shade their eyes at the intersections.
