Bloomfield drive and Oakdale dr intersection
Something is up (again) with the flashing lights at the crosswalk at High Street and Greenbriar Lane. It seems to flash periodically even when there are no pedestrians present to push the button. It was doing this earlier this summer, then it was fixed--but now it's doing it again.
Left turn arrow is out turning left on to So High St from 3rd street
The sensors for the light for traffic southbound on High St. give that direction the green light (straight and turn) even when there are no cars there. The northbound lane can sit for a while waiting for the green for a while. I haven't timed it, but it feels like a full left turn cycle. This is not only inefficient, but frustrating. When you live in the area and have to deal with this all the time, it can really be annoying.
The signal for High Street traffic always preferences the southbound traffic, even when there are no cars there. I frequently sit on the northbound side of the light waiting for it to give us the green when there are no cars at all on the southbound side. We've had cars waiting northbound, eastbound and westbound when only southbound had the green with no cars there.
Light to turn onto Tapp rd.is only green for 2 seconds. It turns red when 1 car is only halfway into intersection turning.then you have a red light for 5-10 minutes before another car can try to turn without being hit.people drive 45 and above on Tapp Rd. I thought light would help us but it's made it worse.
This is not resolved.same thing is happening today. 1 car and it turns red before you can get halfway on to tapp rd.and if you have a red light on Deborah dr you have to wait 10 minutes for 1 car to get into middle of Tapp rd and light turns red. Do you think people are waiting. This light has made it more dangerous.
The traffic light timing at this intersection is completely off. Adams N/S gets a significant amount of time, even when no traffic is coming, causing backups on 2nd street in both directions. Watch 2 cycles and you'll see it's off.
The timing of this light is not right. If you are coming off of Adams street, you often have to wait up to 5 minutes when no other traffic is coming down 2nd street.
The traffic light does not trigger for cars east bound on Rockport approaching Rogers Street. The timing is way off, even when there is no cross traffic on Rogers it can take several minutes before it changes.
