Recently there were workers that were putting some kind of wires underground. Now we have several street lights out. Three of them are ours but one is a city light post by the city bus line sign. I'm not sure if this was caused by the workers.
There was construction on Sare Rd. a while ago and there is still a sign posted on our rd. There is no longer any construction so we are hoping the sign can be removed.
Kate Fish (citizen) contacted Engineering department to report that, "a metal sign came down near Hyde Park entrance." They were directed to the uReport portal for this type of issue, but I am opening a ticket on their behalf.
The sign in the pedestrian crosswalk at Sare and Spicewood was knocked over sometime today.
As you travel North on Dunn Street, between Kenwood and Lakewood cross streets, there is a warning sign for 20 mph/sharp curve ahead that is entirely blocked by shrubs/trees. This curve is hazardous enough as it is and the signage should be more clear.
i live in the barclay square apartment complex. Every day when I pull out of my apartment complex cars speed past along S Walnut Street Pike. This is a residential area with children waiting outside for their buses, as well as some folks walking their dogs. I believe that if there was a stop sign along S Walnut Street Pike it would minimize the risks of motor vehicle accidents or putting pedestrians in danger.
Pedestrian light where the BLine crosses Winslow/Tapp/Country Club is stuck on (flashing red) with no pedestrians present.
The stop light at this intersection is very, very lengthy when attempting to exit east or west from Walker Street on to Second Street. It’s not uncommon to have to wait as long as five minutes or more for the light to change. Even in the evening when the traffic is really low it takes an extended period of time.
The left-turn signal from College Mall to E 2nd St skipped at least two cycles about 20 minute ago. There was a long line of cars waiting to turn. I was first, so I could see clearly. Prior to this, the line was already long and the left-turn signal did not stay on long enough.
