Crosswalk lights not working on south side of intersection
Crosswalk lights not working on south side of intersection
Hello, I am filing this report to follow up on open case #181958 regarding "Cross-traffic does not stop" indication signs to be added to the West- and East-facing stop signs. I would like to see this report acted upon as there have been more collisions and near-misses since I originally reported this intersection and as a nearby resident, it would reduce the extra noise (honking, collision sounds, yelling, etc) off an already very busy/noisy street, and I worry for the safety of drivers, especially those unfamiliar with this unique intersection that are most at risk for causing an accident to occur. Thank you for your consideration in this important matter, and I hope my remarks are helpful as you move forward to a solution.
When stopped eastbound, the "do not enter" sign to your left hides the stop sign on southbound Dunn St; drives do not know that Dunn St also has a stop. It would be useful to have the small "All Ways" sign under the Stop sign on 6th.
The stop sign on 7th heading east before Rogers street is obscured by a tree branch. This seems dangerous.
Street sign is missing at Second & Hunter Ave. Used to be on top of stop sign that’s still there.
Stop sign at 1st going south on Woodlawn completely obscured by tree branches. Have seen drivers miss it a couple of times this week.
Hello. The stoplight on Kingstone and 3rd street does not work properly. It turns green on the mall side (on the 53rd bank side) every other time. Therefore, we have to wait for 2 change of lights before we could move. I have experienced that 5 times now. Today, it happened at 8:11 am.
Street signs missing at College/ 9th intersection.
Due to parked cars on east & west sides of Dodds, it is challenging to see oncoming traffic to turn left or right off of S. Dunn. Especially during rush hour, I’ve had several close calls with oncoming cars. A 4-way stop would be very helpful there. Or limiting parking on Dodds.
Please consider installing a "one way" sign on the NE corner of Walnut/9th pointing west to indicate to drivers travelling north on Walnut that 9th is one-way west. There is already a sign on the NW corner, but that is not always seen by drivers who are intending to turn right onto 9th.
