I live in Downtown Bloomington, and I really appreciate the Kirkwood street closures during the summer! I think they add a lot to the character of Downtown and make pedestrian access much easier. That being said, the t-shaped intersection that is created at Kirkwood and Walnut has become dangerous to pedestrians. Cars are not yielding to the pedestrian walkway, and I've been almost hit by cars that are not paying attention making a left turn while trying to cross the street twice in the last week. I think it would work better for everyone if there were a staggered light so that pedestrians were able to cross when no cars are trying to make a left turn. While that would slow down traffic, it would make things much safer for pedestrians, and I would feel safe walking in my own neighborhood again. Thank you for your consideration!

Speed limit signs in Park Ridge East on Morningside near Park Ridge Road are confusing. Adjacent signs say 20 mph and 25 mph. The 20 is for the nearby park but another 25 sign is across the street south of the tennis court. The 20 mph sign should remain. The two 25 mph signs could be moved east a few hundred feet over the hill on Morningside and placed near Hampton Court to encourage slower speed on Morningside.

on Morningside Greenway please consider cushions instead of bump outs. Normal drivers slow in bump outs but not crazy ones. the problem is the crazy ones. cushions will more effectively ensure slowing down. thank you

This is regards to the road closure north of pending construction project at Kinser Pike & 17th Street. The current placement of the road closure sign on Kinser Pike at the 45/46 bypass is creating a traffic hazard. Those of us who live in the neighborhood adjacent to the construction have difficulty accessing when coming from the north. It is likely that those using the gas station and coming to work at the Holiday Inn are having a similar experience. When northbound traffic on Kinser Pike is in the left turn lane, local southbound traffic on Kinser Pike trying to get past the sign cannot; and end up queueing into the intersection, creating traffic jams and potential for car crashes. PLEASE relocate this sign further south and closer to the actual construction zone. Thank you.

So I brushed out to you guys before and got a basically a lame ass answer, all over the city you guys have the traffic lights set up in timed so as soon as one turns green and you go traveling the speed limit you get to the next one and instantly turns red oh I've driven all over the world this is obviously purposely done what you guys have said it's not case in point from starting from Miller Street through Grimes, this is something that's all over the city to why you want to do that I can understand downtown where you want traffic to slow down but the point I'm making a car stop at every light when doing the speed limit is dumb I don't expect an answer cuz you you're going to fucking deny it again but this is fucking bullshit
