Tree in the front of 1002 E Heather Drive, between the sidewalk and street, has died and needs to be removed. It is a very small tree, only planted a few years ago. The deer over the winter have removed most of the bark, which has killed the tree.
There are two dogwood trees on the sidewalk that have lots of weeds growing at the base and desperately need to be watered.

I am writing to report a broken tree limb that poses a safety concern. It appears that the limb was damaged during the storm we experienced at the end of March 2023. The tree in question is located on city land outside of my property boundary at 1301 W. 8th Street in Bloomington. The broken limb is specifically situated at the intersection of Adams Street and 8th Street, where there is a significant amount of pedestrian traffic. The footpath visible in the attached picture is frequently used by pedestrians crossing from the sidewalk on Adams Street onto 8th Street. The presence of the broken tree limb in this area creates a potential safety hazard for pedestrians. Additionally, there is a slight concern that the broken limb obstructs the view of the Adams Street bridge for drivers turning right onto Adams Street from Fountain. This obstruction may affect the visibility of oncoming traffic, potentially leading to traffic incidents or delays. I kindly request that the relevant department of Bloomington takes immediate action to address this issue. The tree on the right side of the house which is facing W twin oaks ridge is impassable on the sidewalk. Children walk home from school this route and the sidewalks need to be cleared of low hanging tree limbs. Thank you!
Oak trees on street in front of house hang over sidewalk so pedestrians have to duck. One tree was also hit by a truck this week and a branch is now hanging down and obstructing the street.
The trees in the city tree plot on this street are blocking parking spaces and making sidewalk travel nearly impossible.
Tree on the corner of Lincoln and the alley between First United Methodist church and Graduate hotel has several large dead limbs (widow makers) and one limb has dropped on the sidewalk missing a parked car.
The red maple tree (site id 30159?), along the street at 2320 E Woodbine Ave. is not healthy and is becoming a hazard. The top of the tree and many branches are dead. This evening (2/16/23) a large limb fell out of the tree and onto the sidewalk. I tried to attach a photo of the large limb, branches and debris on the sidewalk, but it keeps processing and won't go through. We have cleared the debris and limb from the sidewalk.
