Multiple unhoused people are beginning to gather behind the residential dumpster and by the mail boxes. They hang out for awhile and then it evolves into them setting up camps and tarps, etc. often results in disturbances in the early morning hours. This is not the first time this has happened. Drug use and evidence of drug use was found. Do not want criminal charges or anything, just for them to not set up In our backyard.
Cars parked in little tid bits and cars parked on the opposite side of the street blocks the road. I almost got hit from someone turning left onto N Washington Street because it turns into a one way street when everyone is parked. Please evaluate when cars are parked (during the day 3-5 pm expecially). I am not able to go up to the stop sign because there is a major blind spot someone can turn left into me. There is also a MAJOR pot hole on this road.
The corner of Moores Pike and Claris currently has flashing Yellow lights to help pedestrians cross Moores Pike. Drivers view yellow lights as a call to speed up not Stop. I walk there frequently but cars seldom slow or stop Sometimes the cars speed up, either to beat the light or to run over me. Perhaps it would help to change the lights to red which means Stop. Or install a regular stop light. Also, at the Southeast corner of Hillside Dr and College Mall Rd. The crossing light turns on when the vehicles turn right from Sare Rd onto Hillside Dr. This is very dangerous for the pedestrian since the corner is not visible to the cars turning right. dumpsters are always over flowing and the smell is horrific
but there’s a large dead deer just east of 1906 S Hillside Drive, Bloomington, IN 47401, on the south side of the road, lying partially on the sidewalk. It’s summer; I walk past there often to take the bus; it’ll be horrible very soon…
