The north side of 13th Street between Indiana and Fess has an old limestone masonry sidewalk, maybe from the 1950s (?) It is interesting for historic reasons - it looks like it matches the sidewalks that flank Lincoln between 10th and Cottage Grove - but parts of it have degraded to a point that it is now a bit awkward to walk on it, especially at night. (It is definitely not ADA-complaint.) Is there an office in town dedicated to historic preservation that could commission a team of masons to redo this sidewalk? There is a concrete sidewalk just east of this block that appears to match the pattern, but it is poured concrete with pattern-pressed and actually looks a little comical, as if it is trying to be something that it is not. Also, a side note: there is no sidewalk on the south side of 13th Street in this block. If there were one there (especially ADA-compliant), people could more safely walk from campus to "The Standard" along that street.

I've noticed a lot of people walking from the apartment complex out to the main road on this street and I wanted to send a report to see if someone could either trim the foliage to ensure people can walk on the side of the road or if a sidewalk could be created down South Oakdale Drive to protect pedestrians. The sidewalks between the B-Line Trail and Madison Street at the 3rd Street bridge are getting overgrown. Both sidewalks on the north and south sides of 3rd Street running west from the trail to Madison have low hanging trees and overgrown shrubs. There is also a lot of loose sand on the south sidewalk of 3rd Street overpass. As the only way onto the Trail at 3rd, this all makes for an adventure. On my Bicycle I have to be very careful. I'd like to see this trimmed. I bike commute on the trail from the south to the area of 3rd and Madison. My roommate bike commutes to Cowork. I see others use the sidewalks too. Could be much safer. On the SW corner of E Winslow Rd and S Walnut Pike there is a poison ivy vine sticking out over the sidewalk. It is at a height of 5 feet.

411 E First Street, half of the sidewalk is covered by overhanging long grass. This was reported in the summer already. Nothing has been done about it.

Re case # 164723 (Supposedly resoled) Grass has been cut. Absolutely correct. But how about the E First sidewalk towards Rose? I do not see any improvement there. Low-hanging branches hitting me in the face and arms. Also, another problem has arisen: corner of Eastside and E First: long vegetation is starting to impair the view to the left where cars may be coming out of nothing from E First. The sidewalk has become overgrown. This makes it difficult for pedestrians and cyclists to pass. This is particularly dangerous in this spot due to its proximity to a blind corner.

A plant in the yard of 3401 Ashwood has grown over the sidewalk on The Stands Drive, making it difficult for kids to bike and others to walk on the sidewalk.
