I looked over ordinances and the site at length and could not find what I was looking for. Is there some ordinance about people's animals taking a S@#$ on your yard all the @#$% time? A few folks are considerate enough to bring tools to pick it up, but we are finding this is not the case all too often. People walk their dogs and simply let them S@#% in our yard. This is nonsense. If it happened 1 , 2 times a year, so be it, but that is not the case. If there is no formal ordinance on such matters, so be it, but I thought I would check before anyone was confronted.

Hello, I wanted to find out information on temporary rentals in Bloomington; services like airbnb, vrbo, and others. Is there information online or could you direct me who to contact about rules/regulations/taxes? I have a second question; I would like to convert my 2-car garage into a studio apartment; can direct me to finding out more about permitting and rules/regulations? Thanks for your help! I am on the Gentry Qtrs.HOA board and wanted to compliment and thank the work crew who fixed the water leak at Gentry Quarters Condominiums on College Mall Road on 10/20/2015. The crew did a great job of fixing the leak and cleaning up the muddy mess that was the result and did so in a reasonable time. Its nice to see that kind of service from our city workers.

My house is only serviced by one internet service provider AT&T but I know my neighbors have the choice of Comcast as well. Is it legal for me to only have one option? Do I have any power to pursue Comcast as an internet service provider option? It seems unfair to me that I would not have options.

I buried hundreds of what is referred to as orgonite in the community and over time have come to the conclusion that the stuff is a public menace as it takes away a certain magic that is essential for a decent living. I buried over 20 around the power station at north Dunn just above the railroad tracks and probably as many around trinorth middle school as well as around the vectren office on madison. I believe the community would greatly benefit if these things could be located and removed. I bought a metal detector to find them but it doesn't seem able to locate them. I was thinking maybe ground penetrating radar or some other high tech solution will succeed. Please take this seriously, this stuff is unacknowledged by the government as a problem probably because it is so easy to make and disperse. I believe I have created a unique problem in bloomington that requires government action. I can't say specifically what orgonite does or removes from the environment but I know it does quite a lot and I and probably you though you don't know it have had just about enough of it. Please take me seriously, I want to get this stuff out of all our lives and restore normalcy to the bloomington area. thank you, Michael Donoghue

Parking Meters and Citations

Case Date:
9/27/2017

This is in reference to uReport Case #161251. I was told to pick up my refund at the Morton St garage office. I've been there 3 or 4 times so far, and no one is ever in the office. Can my refund be mailed to me, or is there a better place to get it. Thanks.

Parking Meters and Citations

Case Date:
9/30/2014

I am writing to urge you to extend the amount of time between the issuance of a parking ticket and the date on which the price of that ticket doubles. I realize I am lucky to have a secure job associated with a decent wage that allows me to occasionally absorb the cost of a parking ticket, for those rare times when I accidentally exceed my expected amount of time downtown. However, it was not so long ago, when I was a graduate student, that I truly lived paycheck-to-paycheck, and had a lot of difficulty making it through the second half of the month. A $20 parking ticket which doubles in price within 10 days would have been a very difficult expense to manage. And it should be recognized that even those of us who diligently pay our meters occasionally run into difficulties that cause us to run over. At the same time, we often overpay for the meter ($$ for which we are never reimbursed). In any event, a parking ticket that doubles in price within 10 days puts an undue burden on those residents of Bloomington who are in a challenging financial situation. I suggest you extend the remission time to 30 days to allow your city's residents to better manage their household budgets. Regards, Dr. Kim Novick 904 E 14th Street Bloomington, IN 47408

Parking Permits

Case Date:

MORTON STREET PARKING GARAGE: Why is no one ever there during advertised business hours? My step-daughter would love to pay her bill but there is NEVER anyone there to take her payment. Of course, your limited availability makes it next to impossible to attempt to resolve this issue.
