Street light at corner of W Skyline Dr. and Kinser Pike is out.
Street light at corner of W Skyline Dr. and Kinser Pike is out.
The street light south of aforementioned address is either very dim or just broken. Since that light is out of commission, all of Indiana Ave is poorly lit and deemed unsafe.
In the dark, the light turns off and back on frequently
The street light on the west side of S. Dunn St. in between Smith and 2nd is out. The area is very dark and lacks the feeling of safety without the light
My daughter and her roommates feel unsafe on their street. After a month of hearing gunshots (police said fireworks) and the recent attack. I would like some action to help keep them safe.
E 12th Street, particularly west of the Village Pantry, is extremely dark. Given the recent break in, there should be lights in place on this street.
The only street light on Cadbury Ave is not working.
1) Jordan and hunter light out 2) Jordan in alley between hunter and Atwater light out
Street light has been on 24hr/day for some time--timer issue?
I would like to ask the City of Bloomington to begin considering steps to put ordinances, rules, regulations on these Bird Scooters that have infiltrated our city. I have seen almost every person riding in violation of the safety rules the company urges. There have been two people on a scooter, all of them without helmets, and riding on sidewalks/all over campus. They are getting parked on campus bike racks, cluttering up side walks, and generally are unsafe and without any kind of ordinance in place, could only cause potential risk to both car drivers, pedestrians, cyclists etc. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-45596449 There are known deaths on these modes of transportation. Indianapolis enacted an ordinance after unsafe crashes had occurred. Bloomington needs to be aware of the risk and make stations for these scooters with agreements on proper use.
