I want to start this by saying, I will vote against every single person currently sitting in our local government come next election. I live on the south side and this construction has turned my 15 minute commute into a 40 minute commute. Just to get to the west side of town! None of your projects were planned with ANY consideration of each other. You finish the tapp overpass just to close tapp/rockport and block all access to the overpass. BULL! And now you're closing Grimes for the next 2 months. How do you expect anyone to access Rogers? Do you expect me to drive 4 miles north from my home just to turn west? I am ashamed of every single one of you. You have zero idea on how to plan and coordinate these projects. And to finish, every one I know will also be voting against you next election. This was the nail in the coffin. Absolutely no sense in this whatsoever

Hi, Regarding the July 3 downtown fireworks display, https://bloomington.in.gov/bicentennial links to https://bloomington.in.gov/sites/default/files/2018-06/Fireworks%202018%20FAQ%20Document%20v5%20-%20FINAL.pdf which, among other things, states, "What is the perimeter around the launch site? The City has worked hard on safety for the event. There will be a perimeter around the fireworks display area. Please see attached map. Viewers will not be able to watch the fireworks inside that area." There is no "attached map" that I could find and no instructions/advisory as to where folks might set up lawn chairs and view the show. Given that there may be a large crowd, where are we advised to gather to watch? BTW, the "Calendar" the city site links to (https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=bloomington.in.gov_4m4ito5pefg3ts9pb9uudhda6o@group.calendar.google.com&ctz=America/New_York) has no entry for July 3. Finally, the "flyer" at https://www.visitbloomington.com/event/b-town-boom!-fireworks-over-downtown/38107/ states, "Cook Group and CFC Properties, in partnership with the City of Bloomington, are excited to bring fireworks back to downtown Bloomington for the first time in years. B-town Boom fireworks are an opportunity to celebrate the Bicentennial of the City of Bloomington and Monroe County while kicking off Bloomington's Fourth of July festivities. More info to come." Again, no information about where viewers should or can gather. Can you please advise?

A tree fell on power lines next to Willows Apartments. It must've happened during the last storm. It's been several days and no one has done anything, so I wanted to make sure the City knew about it. Potentially hazardous, also blocks sight when pulling out of the Willows Apartments.

A couple of weeks ago, the city (I assume it was the city) cut down a large tree along High Street, a short distance north of Hillside. They left these logs perched precariously on a bank, where it looks as if they are in danger of tumbling into the street, in the path of some unsuspecting motorist. I assumed they'd be safely cleared away quickly, but a couple of weeks have gone by and they're still there.

Hello: I was in communication with Christina Smith last fall regarding a street light that needs to be installed on S. Fess Ave. Preferably 821 S. Fess Ave., as that is the middle of the block. The 800 block of S. Fess is totally pitch black, unless there is a full moon. I'm not sure why this completely dark street, with two homebound senior citizens living on it (my neighbors), hasn't become a priority for a street light. Please consider taking care of this soon. How would I go about getting someone to come out to potentially issue a citation to a property owner about a dangerous tree? We just purchased our house and there is a very large and what seems to be dead tree on our neighbors property with branches that hang over our home. It seems like it is above power lines as well. I'm just not sure how to go about everything. The occupants are renters and I'm not sure who the landlord is, but it is a hazard that needs to be taken care of ASAP. My address is 1529 W 8th St
