The snow in Brookstone Ct. should be plowed to the back of the court between 3400 and 3404 (see attached photo). Otherwise over 2/3 of the court will simply ice over with traffic and sub-freezing temperatures through the weekend. Also, this was previously requested on 1/5. After the request, the driver did a great job throughout January, so thanks to him! I think he drove truck # 4940. Just need to continue plowing to the correct spot.

The sidewalk on Stands Drive (Eastside of 3401 S. Ashwood Drive) is in terrible shape (crumbled gravel). The problem exits on S. Ashwood on the north side of the property. We reported the condition of sidewalk over ten years ago. Really.

Here are a few pictures of the curb cut issue on Clarizz by the entrance to Bloomingfoods. You can see that there are no ramps on either side of the turn-in to Bloomingfoods from Clarizz. Therefore, anyone wanting to walk to Bloomingfoods using a wheelchair would not have easy access. What you have to do is use the sidewalk across the street (which does have a curb cut) and then cross Clarizz to enter the Bloomingfoods parking area. The problem with this is that the traffic is very heavy on Clarizz, particularly so close to the intersection with 3rd St and this makes crossing, particularly for someone in a wheelchair, perilous. I'm requesting that the City add curb cuts to the sidewalk on Clarizz by Bloomingfoods to fix this problem. A less ideal fix would be to add a crosswalk to the other side of the street, but I really don't see this as a great solution.

Some landscaping work was recently done at this property, and the dump truck that delivered the rocks cracked the sidewalk, leaving it uneven.

Last week my grandmother, Linda Gast, was walking near the Crescent Park Condos on John Hinkle Place across from the post office. She tripped on uneven sidewalk and fell and broke her arm. This break required an ED visit and surgery that included a metal plate and several screws. This sidewalk is near Bell Trace, where she lives, and a lot of older people are using the sidewalks in this area. We would really like to see some attention given to this sidewalk in order to prevent others from being injured.

Hi there, I am living at 311 E. 10th street and to the east of the house, is a public alley road for cars to drive back to the parking lots behind the houses in that vicinity. Over the past few months, we have seen increase sizes of the existing potholes that were there probably from last winter or just erosion over time. This alley way is a gravel drive so as cars continue to drive on it, the potholes get bigger and deeper. I was seeing if there is a possibility before the winter to get the holes filled in with asphalt or gravel to prevent our sedans from bottoming out and scraping the ground with our cars. I know that this alley road is a popular road for the tenants that live within a few houses of the alley because it is one of the main access points to the parking lot in the back of the houses. I would appreciate if someone could reach out to me to even see if it is possible to accomplish before the first snow fall this year. Tree branches blocking sidewalk on walk to work. 305 S. Rogers St.

I live on a narrow road that is circular. One way in; one way out. There are 10 homes on our road and 2 of the homes have small children. I like to be able to take my dogs for a walk on our road as well. Because of our wooded area, the heavy brush and the turns in the road, it is VERY difficult for a driver to see very far ahead of them or supposedly to drive more than 15 miles an hour safely. Many visitors and delivery/service people don't seem to be able to be cautious despite the conditions. At my own expense would like to post a sign that is 24" X 18" on or near a large tree that faces the entrance to my neighborhood. It doesn't appear that any one person owns the property that the tree is on. I wonder if I can legally do this or do I have to get permission from the street department? There is not a sidewalk and as I said, there road is barely passable for 2 vehicles. My dogs and I have had to run to find a safe place to be before cars come flying towards us or from behind. This sidewalk is uneven and cracked and makes it impossible to wheel anything on the pavement. The ground is covered in dirt and leaves which makes passage in the rain hazardous. It also floods in the rain.
