Re: #165767 metal trash cans and car tire are not on his private property, according to Street Department. Also, the City never gave up right of way to alley before Habitat Street was paved, but property owner converted area to private use. He did the same thing with the Indiana RR right-of-way, but the RR cleared all of his junk out. City code prohibits open containers and trash being scattered. City code prohibits cans left on City Streets.
Recycling bin stored on sidewalk. Also, large amount of brush blocking sidewalk.
Trash bins being stored on sidewalk, NW corner of property on Grant.
Yard looks ready for hay bales. Reoccurring entire growing season.
I am concerned about lack of yard & home maintenance at the southwest corner of Woodlawn and 1st Street. The yard is overgrown with weeds and shrubs are overhanging the Woodlawn sidewalk.
I have contacted this rental home's management company (Brawley) twice about a DANGEROUS situation. There are 5 DEAD Ash Trees in the yard and TWO are threatening my home at 2825 Blue Slopes. These trees are dropping very large branches both during storms and more increasingly during rather calm days as well. These trees are both near our home as they are very near the property line. They need to be removed before they do serious damage. I cannot get any response from the management company.
Front yard of this house was never seeded for a lawn after the house was built. The current owner has never mowed the property and it's now grown up with huge weeds. This is not one of those yards planted to create a natural area of native plants. Nothing at all has been done here except to let weeds grow.
Grass is very high and there is a pile of trash in driveway. Only been there for 2 months now
There is a discarded television sitting on the sidewalk on S. Walnut on either the 900 or 1000 block. It's on the east side of the street, roughly across from Bloomington Powersports. It has been there for many weeks now, so I think it abandoned, and I'm concerned it will eventually break and leave glass everywhere.
