I would like to request that a turn signal be added to the traffic lights at the 3rd Street and Woodscrest intersection for drivers on 3rd Street coming from the East who wish to turn South onto Woodscrest. There is already a turn signal on Woodscrest for drivers who are driving North and turn West onto 3rd Street, and that turn signal is extremely helpful. However, there is no turn signal on 3rd Street for people who wish to turn left onto Woodscrest after coming from the East, and as a result, the turn is very difficult and often even unsafe to make. Often times, drivers never have a chance to make a left turn while the light is green due to the often high traffic on 3rd street, and so the drivers are able to turn only when the light turns yellow. Adding a turn signal there would undoubtedly increase the safety for everyone at that intersection. Many of the other intersections on 3rd Street have traffic lights with left turn signals, even for both the East and West directions, and I don't think that the 3rd Street and Woodscrest intersection should continue to lack a turn signal for drivers turning left onto Woodscrest. Not really an issue per say. More a general question. For people walking down third street is there any way for them speed up the light change when there is no cross traffic coming? I normally try to give it two minutes to change? I've noticed it doesn't change automatically unless there is physical cross traffic sitting at the light. Some nights I have enough time to truly wait other nights when running late waiting there is far to much time in my own opinion. If there isn't that's cool. As I said I'm just curious. Over grown bushes at 8th and Hillsdale make it impossible to see oncoming traffic

Heading west on 8th at intersection with Hillsdale. Thick grove of invasive weeds that have become bushes is hiding the stop sign and hindering visibility of vehicles coming from the north.

I'm the manager of Big Red Liquors. I have had several issues with the intersection in front of my store. It has been frustrating over the past couple years, but my recent incident has pushed me to want to request some signs. First, a right turn on red must yield to U turn. Too often have I had close calls from people not only failing to yield the right of way, but running the red light while doing so. I've nearly been hit multiple times. Second, I believe a no left turn sign is needed on the south side of the intersection. Our entrance is purposely designed so vehicles can not enter from that direction (per the request of the city). There have been accidents due to people making a left turn. Not to mention the angry customers who don't recognize that the entrance isn't made to accommodate a left turn. They have seriously damaged their vehicle attempting to enter our parking lot. Finally, I have had a very serious issue with people driving through our parking lot at a extremely dangerous manner, to avoid the street light. They speed through thr parking lot, drive over the sidewalk, and have caused accidents. I have nearly been run over multiple times. As well as other employees, customers, and our delivery drivers. I would like to request some kind of sign stating that it is illegal to use our parking lot to avoid the intersection. Thank you for your consideration.

June 25 storm. Very large evergreen/pine trees blew over. Insurance says it’s the city’s responsibility to clear the blocked sidewalk. Myself and my neighbors cannot see to exit our driveways. Feel free to contact me for any questions. Thank you!
