The barrier in the west bound lane of Country Club west of the Rogers light blocks too much road. I know you're trying to discourage people from going down Country Club and cutting through the neighborhood but the fact is that we are going to do it. Right now turning west from northbound Rogers leaves very little room if someone is in the Country Club left turn onto nb Rogers. Please consider moving that barrier mostly to the side of the road and grass, not in the road. There are going to be accidents from people turning west and not noticing until it's too late how little road is available if cars are in the left turn lane.

Please unblock this road it is ridiculous I live at 2738 S Pinehurst Dr and I have to drive though some neighborhood to get to my house. If you are trying to stop people from going through my neighborhood you are failing because people will just go through more neighborhood to get around the construction and can you blame them you have completely shut the south side of town down and you are going to send all the Jehovah’s Witnesses though my neighborhood now since you cut off the only direct access to their church.

The road closed barricade on Rockport (traveling southwest) and Rogers is too much in the road that buses and other large vehicles are having difficulty turning the corner from southbound Rogers onto Rockport when cars are at the intersection (on Rockport) waiting for the light. It is assumed that vehicles need to be up at the intersection in order to trip the light for Rockport travelers. Despite the closure, the road is heavily traveled due to the various neighborhoods and Summit Elementary (summer school?). Being a resident of the Adams Hill neighborhood, I travel through this intersection daily. If the barricade can be moved off the road more, that would be an easy fix. However I like that it makes it obvious to travelers that the road is closed, as I do not want even more traffic through our neighborhood than we already have. My suggestion is to alter the light-trip indicators. If the cars traveling northeast on Rockport can be further back to trip the light, it would allow cars to weave through the barricades in single file when it is their turn. This also means there should be a "No Turn on Red" for southbound Rogers. A solution would also need to allow for those in the neighborhood across Rogers to come through the light onto southbound Rockport. The traffic from that direction is minimal. My thought for those traveling from that direction would be to have their side trip individually and the lights would need to be green one direction at a time. If the closure was only for a month or two, it would not be much of an issue. However with the closure going until near the end of the year and school starting in August, this intersection will need addressed as the traffic (buses and parents) to and from Summit Elementary is quite measurable. The closed road sign is at the very end of the road for the north bound lane of rockport upon exiting Fullerton pike. I understand informing that the road is closed about 1 mile ahead, but its blocking safe access to the lane for anyone traveling to their homes in bachelor heights. I feel that it is unsafe and obstructing traffic.

We are the landlord of this commercial building and have a shared alley way. There are two white trash bags leaning against our building (left by students across the alley most likely) - trash is strung out of it due to animals and there is some broken glass as well. Can you please take care of cleaning this up??

Hi, There's a couple of large road cuts at the intersection of Lincoln and 6th St. If the city is not planning on filling these any time soon could we at least get the sharp edges softened? Sometimes I've seen this done and it makes road cuts much easier to drive over without damaging your tires. Thanks, Vickie Nelson Bloomington

Please see attached photo. This location is at 10th and Park and has been reported to the IU Grounds Dept. as a tripping hazard. The gray bucket is there to indicate a bus pickup for the Boy Scouts that are in town but the metal and the sandbags are blocking the sidewalk, our crews moved the items off the sidewalk and into the homeowners yard. a few weeks ago i wrote on ureport about the missing crosswalk button device at the intersection of west 3rd street & franklin. later when i looked at ureport again i could see that a city engineer had contacted the i-69 project to tell them it was their problem. it still didn't get fixed, so i called the phone # for 1-69 & left a voice message. a man from there called me back & said that their project doesn't go that far, so it's up to the city to fix that. his name is kirk roth so if there is still a dispute, please call him at the phone# on their website. this needs to get resolved please for pedestrian safety at a very busy intersection. people who live on yancy etc need to cross there to get to the bus-stop across the street to go to work. thanks
