This entire sidewalk is covered in dirt and leaves which makes the ground slippery when wet. The sidewalk floods when there is rain which renders parts of the sidewalk impassable. There is also excessive growth from most of the foliage on the side of the sidewalk. The sidewalk is also uneven and broken; you can not wheel anything on the pavement and have to walk in the road.

The sidewalk ends abruptly in a very dangerous intersection. This turn needs to be improved for pedestrian safety. House at the corner of W 6th and Fairview has allowed decorative grasses to grow into sidewalk and into Fairview Street. Cars cannot see pedestrians as they pull through Fairview and peds have to walk into street to avoid getting hit in face by plants.

Four scooters were parked at 7:45 today transversely on the sidewalk on fourth street next to Taste of India. They are blocking the sidewalk. If someone with a wheelchair of a baby stroller gets to this point, they won't be able to use the sidewalk. This is just an example, but in general these scooters, which have recently appeared in Bloomington, are usually badly parked. Also it should not be allowed to ride these scooters on sidewalks since they travel very fast! Please do something to regulate the usage of the scooters. Best regards, Carmen
