Hi, My roommate and I have been experiencing skin problems (i.e. dryness, flaking and a lot of sudden acne when we both have never had acne) for the past couple weeks and we have ruled out any other changes we have made. We were notified by our landlord that the city of Bloomington was making changes in the water system, and when we went home out of state for a week, the skin problems resolved. The curb cut has turned into a sink hole at the southwest corner of 9th and IN. The sidewalk on the opposite corner (north side of 9th between Indiana and Fess) is also a problem.
crows had attacked the back parking lot early Dec 17th. My wife and I cleaned up the back parking lot Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. On Tuesday afternoon I went to Lowes and bought two fake Horned Owls and placed them on my air conditioner units. The next day Dec 20th there were no signs of crow activity from the night before.
Recycling bin on sidewalk
There are numerous close calls and way too many accidents at this intersection because cars on Grant aren't aware that cross-traffic on 9th doesn't stop. There was an accident this afternoon and luckily everyone was fine, but I believe it could have been avoided if the city put up a little "Cross Traffic Does Not Stop" sign below the stop signs on Grant. Blue Volkswagen frequently on walk
Trash and broken glass for weeks. Does the city enforce this location? It's always trashed!
Trash overflowing from trash bins, and trash bins stored in inappropriate location (as in, not in front of the house).
House has couches and furniture in the yard, trash all over the yard that travels across and in to the street near the poplars garage. This trash and debris has been outside and growing since last week.
