The corner of Moores Pike and Claris currently has flashing Yellow lights to help pedestrians cross Moores Pike. Drivers view yellow lights as a call to speed up not Stop. I walk there frequently but cars seldom slow or stop Sometimes the cars speed up, either to beat the light or to run over me. Perhaps it would help to change the lights to red which means Stop. Or install a regular stop light. Also, at the Southeast corner of Hillside Dr and College Mall Rd. The crossing light turns on when the vehicles turn right from Sare Rd onto Hillside Dr. This is very dangerous for the pedestrian since the corner is not visible to the cars turning right. but there’s a large dead deer just east of 1906 S Hillside Drive, Bloomington, IN 47401, on the south side of the road, lying partially on the sidewalk. It’s summer; I walk past there often to take the bus; it’ll be horrible very soon…

Garbage is all over the back of the lot. It looks like a dump. It is covering the woods and smells really terrible. There has been a person(s) living back there and they have a restraining order against them. The property is covered with trash, food, furniture, and needles. It is a hazardous area. The woods keep it covered during this time of the year, but when the leaves are gone it is really obvious that it is being used as a place to live.

I live near the intersection of Arden and High. I have personally witnessed several cars blow through the 4-way stop without stopping or slowing down. There are a lot of children in this neighborhood, including many who walk to Child's school. Please consider some sort of traffic warning/calming/etc at this intersection. Thanks, Sarah Schmiechen
