Several weeks ago the new fiber cables were buried along E Hillside Dr. I was working from home when one of the workers knocked on the door and asked if I had water. I did, and so did the neighbors. The worker said he ran into water, but if we all had service, then he wasn’t going to worry about it. I didn’t think anything of it. Now, we have noticed there is water coming up out of a spot along the sidewalk. I realize the picture is not really telling you much, but it’s like a small mud pit and water is coming up out the ground there. This is within the 10’ strip that the City of Bloomington owns along this section of Hillside.

On the Rail Trail, just south of Country Club, there is a parking lot. Just south of the bicycle roundabout there, there are drinking fountains. The drinking fountains have been smeared with poop and need a good deep clean.

ihitPolly Grimshaw Trail (east portion near tennis court) has numerous bumps that are hazards to bikes at speed (coming down the hill at night. My water meter was to be replaced this past Wednesday but the service folks doing this work were not able to shut water off at the street as they said my water shutoff was bad. I am not able to turn water off in the house as well as I have a bad gate valve that needs to be replaced. I do have the city water spot prepped and ready for your replacement. I would appreciate a call to get this repair completed as soon as possible so the water meter guys can return to complete their work. Thank you. Terry Duffer
