Washington Street just south of Smith where there was construction last summer, the street still needs to be fixed. Last fall you said it was too cold for asphalt repair. It's been warm enough for a while now. It's especially bad in the bike lane.
I contacted IU but they said this light belongs to the city. The light to let pedestrians cross at 10th and Fee Lane (going from Kelley School to the Arboretum) is not working. I stood out there in the rain for 5 minutes today, pressing the button several times, but it did not turn to the pedestrian light when it was supposed to. Instead, cars kept going so I walked all the way up the sidewalk to the library where there is a "yield" pedestrian crosswalk; not that anyone does. This is a busy cross intersection for pedestrians, especially with orientation going on.
On the trail through the middle of Bryan Park, just east of the boardwalk, there is a low hanging branch. It's even lower when it's wet. It's too low to safely bike under it and even someone who is not tall has to duck to walk under it. It should be taken down.
This morning when I was driving to work, there were signs halfway blocking both sides of traffic at the light of S. Rockport Road and S. Rogers Road near Sunoco Gas Station. What is going on?? Please do not tell me this road is being closed off because for those of us who live back there, going down Countryside Lane and out onto Rockport to Rogers is the only way we can leave now that the four way stop at Rockport and Tapp are closed, as well as the Country Club Bridge. Could your department please look into why Leonard Springs Rd always floods near the Van Buren Apartments. The ditches hold water and because the road dips in the same area the road is always flooded when it rains as well. Thank you Laura Lane
A white Dodge 1500 van with Indiana license plate # 736MDU has been parked on the south side of First Street in front of 324/322 E. 1st St. since May 29. It has not moved during that time period. At night and in early morning hours, we have seen a man getting in and out of the van.
Pot Holes from entrance of Wendy's Way to Hanks Crossing. There about 12 - 13 of them. Pot Holes on S.Endwright Rd. from previous fillings in front of Clear Note Church to W. Gifford Road (and over railroad track).
1. Pothole 500 E Grimes Ln & 1000 S Henderson intersection on NE corner near walk lane. 2. Multiple potholes 1000 S Mitchell St & 1500 E Southdowns Dr. along seam of road where intersection was re-aligned years ago AND northward on Mitchell in seam of road towards Maxwell Ln. 3. Around corner of 1500 E Maxwell Ln & 900 S Mitchell St on the eastbound lane of Maxwell up the hill. 4. 1300 E Southdowns Dr & 1000 S Highland Ave both directions (east & west) in middle seam of Southdowns
Paul Smedberg is operating a business out of his home. 517 N Colony Court. Is this authorized? I know the subdivision doesn't allow it but I assume a city permit is required?
