1200 w Allen st across from hilltop village apt . On the Northside of Allen st the tree climbs are hanging out in the street box trucks are hitting the climbs and are going to damage trucks. And a long were the brown fence is it looks like a jungle. Students walk there dogs there and a lot of them walk them along the street because they do not want to walk Thur there. I see every day and evening some rough looking people hangout in there . There is no lighting along there a good place to get jumped and robbed or worst. It needs to be cleaned up .

There has been a problem with people burning trash and yard waste in the near west side neighborhood nearly daily all summer and into this beginning of the fall season. The smoke often collects in some areas and lingers for hours causing a serious public health threat. Frequently the burning is conducted by a community of homeless people in the woods between W 8th and 9th Starts and the Monon trail just East of Adams Street, although therr may occasionally be other residents who are burning as well. Various neighbors have mad numerous calls to 911, but the problem persists. You may also reference the near west side neighhood association website to reference other complaints. While the fire department has come out to talk to the perpetrators numerous times, the City of Bloomington needs to find a permanent solution, since this is a serious public health problem that has been going on for a very long time, and sending the fire department does not resolve the problem.

People are blowing through this 4 way stop from all directions! This has always been an issue, but even more so from where the road has been closed for so long. There are many residents and pedestrians that cross here which makes it a very unsafe situation. Rumble strips or a temporary flashing stop sign might remind people that they need to stop here!

Multiple street signs and a fire hydrant were defaced with spray paint between 06-07 September. This is unusual behavior for the neighborhood.

I live in the apartment building on the corner of 2nd and High street. The entrance to its parking lot is from High street, very close to the corner. Any time there's a car stopped at the light the entrance is blocked, and the light is delayed for those cars, so unless you are coming in from the south, you have to wait for those cars to go, blocking traffic behind you, or go around the block. Could it be possible to paint the sign in front of the parking lot entrance that cars should not stop there for the light, but a little further from the entrance, and should not block the entrance to the lot? Behind the fence at 323 S. Davisson it has not been tended this entire year. Overgrowth is between seven and 8 feet and height and thoroughly filled with poison ivy. I believe poison ivy is considered invasive noxious. This needs to be taken care of. Turned into reports this year already no effect would like to see something happen.

I like to keep my privacy fence clear and clean on both sides and currently I cannot do so because of envading branches and other overgrowth from my neighbors yard onto my yard (2412). Not sure who to contact about this as she is not approachable

I reported this problem on 7/25/24 and this was the response: "working with a third party contractor to schedule and abatement." Does it really take this long to take care of this problem?! It is now 9/13 and the problem has worsened yet again, and they have added two small Kroger shopping carts to the yard. I am sure city officials would love for this to be their neighbor! Please get this property cleaned up!
