This report is for the person that created #192463, in case they are checking on status. What you have reported has been reported before and obviously nothing has been done. The same thing has happened to others and me. I don't know what would constitute negligence on the city's part but... they have dropped the ball on this one. My $.02 is fixing the deep dip and drastically uneven surface at the intersection (that's what took me out) would be the least, installing a reflective post at the corners would be even better, or better yet a railing. Thank you for reporting your friend's experience and I hope they are not gravely injured and are doing okay. With any luck this will be addressed.

At East Thornton Drive and Covey Lane, there are several big old trees whose branches overhang Covey Lane, and the big branches are rotten and some have already fallen, but the limbs that hang over Covey Lane are dangerous to pedestrians walking their dogs and cars using Covey Lane. Can you please look into this and have the limbs and/or tree cut so that no one will get hurt or property damaged by falling limbs. Every time a hard rain comes or storm with light wind come, large limbs fall onto Covey Lane. Thank you.

Wanted to see if the parks and rec department could come take a look at the Beech tree on the north side of Maxwell (marker used above). Several really large dead branches that are dangerously falling in a piecemeal way. The overall health of the tree is in steady decline, and it may be easier for the city to remove it now before it is completely rotten. Thanks!

Hello, we have a Pin Oak tree to the west of our home that was affected by the storm. We wanted to check to see if this tree is on city property. While looking at the GIS it looks like our property line starts at our basketball hoop and the tree is to the west of that line. There are branches that are loose and it looks like there has been a lot of woodpecker activity in the past that is creating damage. Could someone please come out and inspect the tree and let us know what you think? We would love to keep the tree if possible, but safety-wise we would like to have it checked/trimmed up. Please inspect the tree behind the New Hope dumpster that is on Park District strip of land. The tree is severally leaning and resting against another. It might be compromised due to last weeks storm. It might have been responsible for a smashed car windshield. If not there is some dead branches that are a risk to the New Hope staff and client parking on the North side of the property.

I have two dead trees, that has not bloomed in Spring or Summer, close proximity to my house- causing potential hazard. Wanted to write this email as an official notification for City to take action, as it is on city property, and if any damage is caused in the next storm with these trees, I have reported this to you on July 27, 2024. My neighbor at address 2131 S Bent Tree Drive just reported two dead trees on City property that are leaning towards both of our houses. Within the past 10 mins, another dead tree just split in half and half of it fell against other trees leaning towards our homes. the median up and down college mall road not kept up full of weeds. so many medians all over town have weeds growing in them looks so bad. thx

The water fountain at third street park is not draining. Also, some of the railings around the decorative fountain are loose at their bases.
