Hello, I am currently trying to sell my house at 1221 W. 6th Street. Potential buyer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive however several people have decided not to buy my house because of the condition of the neighboring property to the east. That particular house is abandoned and derelict. Are you able to take any action that would remedy this plight or if this is simply a civil matter please let me know what steps I should take to address the problem myself. My neighbors have built up a huge pile of trash over the winter. This happens all the time - they will not take their trash out and it stinks up the entire neighborhood until the city gets involved and fines them or cleans up the property. The trash is in the back and front of the house.
