Last week my grandmother, Linda Gast, was walking near the Crescent Park Condos on John Hinkle Place across from the post office. She tripped on uneven sidewalk and fell and broke her arm. This break required an ED visit and surgery that included a metal plate and several screws. This sidewalk is near Bell Trace, where she lives, and a lot of older people are using the sidewalks in this area. We would really like to see some attention given to this sidewalk in order to prevent others from being injured.

I discovered that AEG had drilled through my sewer tile after calling plumbers several times to fix sewer blockages. On April 9, 2024, I contacted Eddie Helmondollar and his supervisor Dave Craig (cc:ed above) with pictures of the damage and a copy of the invoice I paid to the plumbing company ($2250). Dave says that he has repeatedly contacted Accounts Payable to check on the status of my claim. But despite my regular requests for help, I have not received any assurance the claim is being processed or when to expect the reimbursement. It is now July—3 months since I alerted AEG to the problem. Please assist me with this request. Thank you for any help you can provide. I have a foul sewer smell in my whole townhouse and it’s now reached the upstairs but it’s mainly in the basement. My landlord has sent four sets of plumbers over here who have snaked the drain in the basement and they said that I would not have the sewer smell anymore. But the sewer smell is still here and actually it has sometime someway intensified. The plumbers and the landlord also went next-door to the neighbors to see if the smell was coming from there. What they found was a lot of dog and cat feces and urine next-door and had them clean it up. The neighbors brought out bags and bags of trash and poop. We thought the problem was settled. But it is not. In my area they’ve had to have the sewer lines redone across from me in the complex and I’m thinking that may be happening now over here. The point is the landlord won’t do anything else to get the smell out of my house. And also has offered to let me out of my lease because of the smell. I do not have money to move. And I would like it inspected to know what it is that I need to do to get this rectified in order to stay here for the next year for my lease. Is there any assistance she would be able to give me. My house smells like sewer, but the basement smells super like sewage, I’m not sure what looks like. I don’t know what’s going on. They supposedly filled in all the holes down in the basement on the washer side, but nothing is helping , I’ve got older releasing things down there. I have damp bread. I have air fresheners and baking soda and nothing is working. Could I please have some help thank you.

7/3/24 our recycling was not picked up despite our bin being curbside since 7p the night before. It appears our recycling bin was skipped and the remainder of the neighborhood was collected.

Our recycling can was damaged by the pickup truck causing the can to be cracked and causing the tire to break off. We’d like a replacement can please.

Underneath the BLine bridge the road is super rough. Driving through at the speed limit sets off the collision detection in my car, which is dangerous. The whole section needs replacing and not just patching.

I submitted a report a day ago reporting that the City’s fiber project filled holes in the road with stones that were washing out. Surprise, with the rain yesterday they are even worse!

This one in the attached photo is on S. Woodlawn Ave between Atwater Ave and E Hunter Ave. This is extremely deep and will definitely cause any cyclists or motorcyclists to fall. There are wider but shallower potholes just one block south of this section on S. Woodlawn. It would be great to get those fixed at the same time.
