The Madison Park HOA would like to request that this tree, and the nearby tree stump from previously cut tree, are both removed. This is located in between the HOA property and the street, next the southwest building. We had a tree removal contractor assess this area and inform us that the tree is dying and needs to be removed. I believe this is the only tree left in this area, and we have been previously informed that these trees are owned by the City, not the HOA. Water has been pouring onto the front yard of our office through a large crack in the concrete retaining wall at the east side of Building Trades park. This has been on-going over the entire day. We have not observed this happening after a rain event in the past.
With the construction going on in the Building Trades Park homeless people are starting to hang out in the church parking lot across the street. The security patrols for the park used to check out that parking lot but have stopped since the construction has started. It would be nice if they swung through occasionally while the construction is going on.
Strong smell of some sort of natural gas coming from the hotel. Made me a little dizzy. On the B-line between the hotel and Wonderlab.
On the B Line trail, the shelter that is between WonderLab and the Hyatt: this is turning into an encampment. I see open drug use while passing by each day. There is increasing trash on the ground, bikes chained to light poles, people arguing, etc. And this is mere feet from a children's museum, not to mention in the middle of downtown. I know it's a public space but these people are claiming it for their own and creating an unsafe situation. Thank you.

The B-line trail pavement stones are completely iced over. I fell going through this part between Kirkwood and 4th St today and watched many others tip-toe through. It needs salt to melt the ice ASAP!
