My name is Kaleen Dowdy, I work with Mackie Properties and we manage the Cameron Row HOA community. The homeowner of 2027 S. Ramsey Drive recently submitted a request that stated they believe the Oak tree (Scarlet) at the front of their unit near the street is dead. The City's Tree Map indicates this is a City Tree (I've attached a screenshot including all of the information from your Tree Map for this tree) and we are requesting that it be removed/replaced by The City. Thank you!

At switchyard dog park in the large dog area, there is a huge pool of muddy water. It looks like when they fixed the puddle the other month, it just moved the problem to a different spot and is now even worse. Where the pipe drains out, it has created a large pool of muddy water that dogs lay in, eat, and drink. This is a health hazard for the dogs, and they seem to be drawn to the mud because of the heat. I ask that this hole be filled, and that the pipe extends to a location that does not flood the dog park to avoid this issue from continuing to happen.

The shrubbery along the west side of the trail around the Winslow sports complex needs to be pruned back especially in the area near the wooden bridge. It's growing halfway across the trail. The shrubbery near the south east corner of the trail might also benefit from some pruning.

My neighbor at address 2131 S Bent Tree Drive just reported two dead trees on City property that are leaning towards both of our houses. Within the past 10 mins, another dead tree just split in half and half of it fell against other trees leaning towards our homes. I have two dead trees, that has not bloomed in Spring or Summer, close proximity to my house- causing potential hazard. Wanted to write this email as an official notification for City to take action, as it is on city property, and if any damage is caused in the next storm with these trees, I have reported this to you on July 27, 2024. I have requested in the past that the trees in the city tree plot desperately need to be trimmed. I'm not sure who does this but I have requested several times and no such luck on them getting trimmed.

There are two very large and deep muddy puddles in the large dog park area at Switchyard. One is located by the large tree in the center of the park, and the other is located by the sitting area under the green awning. My dog recently got into the muddy water, ate and drank it, and became severely sick for several days. After speaking with several dog owners at the park, this has happened with their dogs too, so it is definitely a health hazard. It is very difficult to keep the dogs away from these areas. This does not seem to be a problem just after rainfall, but most of the time. I ask that they be filled with gravel or fenced off to allow for regrowth and to keep dogs away in the meantime. Thank you!
