I'm guessing someone from Parks and Rec chose the image for the parks web page. I'm hoping someone in the Parks department can find a winter photo of Bloomington or at least of Southern Indiana. I looked at the current image being used and thought to myself that's not Bloomington but I do want to go there, where ever that is and see that beautiful scenery myself. It didn't make me think "Wow! Bloomington has amazing open space and views!!" Come on Parks have some hometown pride! (please)

The footbridge at the entrance to the trails is falling apart - it's probably one child jumping on it away from collapsing and causing injury.

Tree fell in RCA park behind the tennis courts. It knocked down a branch but the branch is hanging on by some bark. It is hanging over the trail.

There's an insane amount of excrement along the B Link Trail. Possibly human.

Not sure where this is specifically as a Facebook user sent it to me with the message: There is glass by the lower Bryan park bench. Just wanted to let someone know!

An old BBQ has been sitting outside along the b-line, left there by the fire company when they had their temporary station on 4th, long past time for them to clean up their mess.

I would like to highlight what I believe to be one remaining safety concern along that B-Line bike path. It has to do with the bridge on Allen that crosses over the open drainage (right by the Traffic Division's garage). When approaching the bridge from either direction, there are significant gaps on either side where there is no barrier between the road and the drainage culvert. I am concerned that a cyclist -- perhaps one pulling over to allow a car to pass -- could misjudge their stopping distance and ride into the culvert. Additionally, there is no easy way for someone who does fall in to climb back out.
I believe that the expense to fix this would be low. It appears that an attempt may have been made to create a curb at one point, but the work appears to be incomplete and not sufficient to stop a bicycle. However, something like a length of guardrail seems like it would be more than sufficient.
Thank you for taking time to read my concern.
