Newly installed lights on Hawthorne. The lights are so bright I could mow my lawn at midnight and that is with the trees in full leaf. I used to enjoy looking at the stars, but no more. I don't remember seeing any additional lights in the plan for the bike access between weatherstone and hawthorne. There are already lights at either end of the street marking the intersections so perhaps that aren't necessary. Could they be dimmed or adapted so the light is cast downward?

The yellow paint on the curb adjacent to my driveway has (largely) worn away, and cars now park right up to my driveway on 2nd st, which is very busy. I can't see cars coming from either direction when parked cars take these (illegal) positions. I would like the yellow paint to be redone so that drivers would more often leave clearance around my driveway.

Hello: I was in communication with Christina Smith last fall regarding a street light that needs to be installed on S. Fess Ave. Preferably 821 S. Fess Ave., as that is the middle of the block. The 800 block of S. Fess is totally pitch black, unless there is a full moon. I'm not sure why this completely dark street, with two homebound senior citizens living on it (my neighbors), hasn't become a priority for a street light. Please consider taking care of this soon. Fess Avenue. Each year, we install street lights within the public right of way on a petition base and available funding. I have placed your request area on are list for future consideration. Fess Avenue between 1st and Maxwell is very dark. No streetlights. I am requesting a light be put in between 821 and 823 S. Fess. It's almost pitch black.
