We were charged over $300 under sanitation for "Large Item Pick up", however, were not responsible for any items that were allegedly picked up. I have tried to get in contact with the sanitation department for the past month with no avail. I would like to get this issue resolved so I am not responsible for the charges or the late fees that could potentially accrue. My yard waste was not picked up on Tuesday July 26. It met all criteria for pick up, and has been picked up in the past. My garbage and recycling were picked up, but not yard waste. I called and reported this on Tuesday afternoon but did not hear back from the City.
Hello! I noticed that there are plenty of recycling options on Kirkwood, but almost none on the half right outside of the Sample Gates until you get to around FARM (I know because I had something to recycle and walked until I found a recycling bin). I think having a few more recycling options in this area would be helpful, especially considering all the recycling people might have coming out of places like Chipotle and the Pourhouse. I really hope you consider doing this!
Address: 313 E 12th St. I placed my recycling at the curb Sunday night. It hasn't yet been picked up. It's usually picked up around 6-7 AM. According to the magnet we got in the mail, it was supposed to be picked up today. Please pick it up when you can.
Does the City not recycle newspaper any more? Most of my recycling materials were picked up early this morning, but I was puzzled to find that the newspapers were left in the bottom of the bin. I finally went out about 1pm and brought them back inside. Should I not put my newspapers out anymore?
