It seems the roads were plowed, however. There is still a considerable amount of snow and slush on the streets in the park ridge east area. This makes it very difficult to drive safely, particularly in hilly and curvy areas.
sidewalk floods in front house when it rains. puddle is too deep to walk through. very inconvenient.
This sidewalk is so uneven that I cannot navigate it safely with my power chair. Even if we are going to the WonderLab, we usually cross to the south side of the street for this block and then back to the north side again to continue on our way.
Could the sidewalk here be improved to be ADA compliant? Thanks!
407 S Grant St.: there is a serious and dangerous condition along Grant St. between Smith and 2nd streets. You crews have left 3ft trenches along a poured sidewalk. I've personally seen 3 cars fall into these trenches and receive damage. Your signage is insufficient. Please remedy this situation now or residents being hampered by this nuisance will be forced to take legal action against the city. This report will serve as notice that you are aware of the hazard you have created by failing to fix the road in a timely manner.
The sidewalk is covered with a think layer of run off gravel from the alley. Can this be cleaned up and something done to prevent this from continually happening?
Recently, I reported some damage to the E. Regents Circle street, which the City immediately fixed. The repair work was OUTSTANDING, by the way! The promptness and quality of the repair work was spot-on ... many thanks to the City! However, after a few months we've noticed that the asphalt used for the repair appears to now be "separating" from the original pavement of the East edge of street (see attached photo). Our concern is that as winter approaches, there will be opportunities for water/snow/ice to accumulate, freeze, and actually cause *more* damage to the original repair work. Pot hole filling debris all over the road! Two nights ago we believe that a snow plow inadvertently dug up and distributed debris from a pot hole that was coming undone. Black sticky stuff has been spread up the road and on our driveway (only a little on our driveway). The debris is a a hazard, and of course, the pot hole is too. We hope that the street can be cleaned up sooner rather than later please.
Section of sidewalk has risen 4-5 inches causing a hazard to the neigborhood kid on their bikes- they hit it and it causes an accident. I have seen other spots where the high side has been shaved off to be level? Very easy to spot, between my house 3824 and the neighbors, 3820.
I appreciate the snow removal services provided by the City. After today's snow, I noticed that the lower part of our street was clear but the cul-de-sac was not. This is the first time this has occurred. As the snow season begins I thought I would check in to make sure that it is planned that the cul-de-sac will normally receive the same services as the rest of the street. Thank you.
