while walking downtown this morning, 2 areas need snow & ice removal for pedestrians please. i was walking from the city bus-station toward firestone business, & the median in the middle of 3rd street there needs to be cleared for pedestians. another trouble spot: on 6th street between walnut & washington, where the alley intersects with the sidewalk, still has ice (the side of the street that has a tattoo shop). thanks
At the southwest corner of East Third St. at the 45-46 Bypass, there's a pile of snow that makes it difficult for pedestrians to move from the sidewalk to the crosswalk (heading east) or from the crosswalk to the sidewalk (heading west). I had to dodge briefly into the lane for cars. I know it's hard to keep all of the corners clear for pedestrians, but that's a busy corner, and even in this weather there are still some pedestrians out and about along that stretch of E. Third.
Upended sidewalk on 2nd street, especially on south side of 2nd at corner of Ballantine, but also further west on 2nd. As elderly people, we find this absolutely treacherous! Sorry we can't send a photo; we have "dumb" phones. Thank you!
Crumbling sidewalk with loose gravel on left side of Autumn Drive between house number 2208 and 2218. Hazardous.. I have tripped and fallen twice as I walk my dogs. Second time I have reported this problem. I'm 74 and don't want to break a hip!!

The sidewalk on 9th between Grant and Lincoln St. is crumbling and falling apart.
The sidewalk in front of our house has many cracks. Some of the places it is cracked are raised up a few inches which can cause tripping. In addition, we have pipes that run under our sidewalk and out to the street to connect to the main sewer. The clay pipe that runs under the sidewalk has roots growing into it. In order to replace the pipe we need to take out the sidewalk. We are hoping that since the sidewalk needs replacing anyway, the city could let us know when the sidewalk will be torn up and replaced so we can have our plumber ready to replace the pipe while the sidewalk is up. The sidewalk to the east of our front steps is cracked. A large mud puddle stays there, such that we need to keep it covered in straw in order for pedestrians not to slip and get muddy. This section is just next to the new sidewalks planned for the intersection of Fairview and Dodds streets. Including this segment in your replacements and repairs will allow an efficient, strategic improvement. Thank you.
