At the intersection of W. 9th Street and N. Maple (NOT "709" as your locator insists) is a long crevice in the roadway, getting deeper by the day. It lies along the south side of the intersection. Many cars no longer stop at the stop sign; they just "run" over this trench so they won't get stuck. Although the area is not exactly a high-traffic one, it gets many children, families, pedestrians—and this trench is a dangerous situation.

There are at least 2 street lights out near this area. The first is on the north side of Kirkwood just about to the point you would turn south at the light. The next is near the little hamburger store (on that side of the street) just as you turn west onto west 3rd street

There are still a 4 or more lights out on the opposite side of 5th street across from Rose Hill cemetery. In addition after you make the turn to do south at the nearby intersection, there are at least 2 or 3 lights that have "dimmed" (I don't know what this means but I assume they are defective) that are on the right side of the road in near to Hinkle's Hamburgers. Let's get Duke on this, we pay them to do it.

This light has been on and off for sometime now. It is dark outside early in the morning and we would appreciate it very much if the light could be fixed to be on when it is dark out Rev. Ernest D. Hello, I was just checking UReport and see that someone has closed our request for clean up after the storm in July. My husband called and told them that our debris would be on the alley side because there was no space on our street. He was assured that it would be picked up, but it's still there and the ticket (screenshot attached) is called 'resolved'. It's not resolved.

Bloomington's traffic signal timing is, in general, inadequate. Traffic patterns in the city are highly variable, changing drastically as students arrive and leave with the university schedule and as new student housing is constructed. It would be wonderful if the city were to invest in a system which changes traffic signals in real time as a function of data collected from sensors at intersections. Surely there will be graduate students, postdocs, and faculty in the Luddy School eager to help out with a cool "smart city" project...
