Potholes, Other Street Repair

Pot hole filling debris all over the road! Two nights ago we believe that a snow plow inadvertently dug up and distributed debris from a pot hole that was coming undone. Black sticky stuff has been spread up the road and on our driveway (only a little on our driveway). The debris is a a hazard, and of course, the pot hole is too. We hope that the street can be cleaned up sooner rather than later please.

Dear Streets & Sanitation: There's a fairly large pothole on our residential street. It was patched up a few years ago, but unfortunately it started to reopen this winter and spring. With all the rain the past month, it's getting worse and worse each week. It's currently about four feet wide and about 2 feet long. It's not deep yet, but it's deeper now than it was a week ago. I realize there are a lot of potholes on many roads right now, but if you could please find time to patch this one, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Sincerely, Jonathan

I apologize if you receive this twice. I'm not sure my first attempt was sent. The pavement in front of my driveway is beginning to break up. It needs a small amount of patching to keep it from getting any bigger.

I reported a potential sinkhole in the street in front of my property in August 2016. The hole opening into the what I believe will become a sinkhole was immediately patched. Now, new construction has just begun on adjacent lot 3880. concrete trucks making deliveries to that site have now created a ten foot long , 2 foot wide, 2 inch deep indentation in the pavement directly above where I suspect a sinkhole. The pavement is permanently damaged and parts have broken up. I realize that making repairs while construction is in progress is probably not practical, but I wanted to immediately make the city aware of the damage. I don't know if this is something the builder will be expected to take of or if is the city. Regardless of whether its the city or the city makes the builder take care of it, I would appreciate the city giving me the assurance that the damage will be repaired as soon as practical. Thank You! Recently, I reported some damage to the E. Regents Circle street, which the City immediately fixed. The repair work was OUTSTANDING, by the way! The promptness and quality of the repair work was spot-on ... many thanks to the City! However, after a few months we've noticed that the asphalt used for the repair appears to now be "separating" from the original pavement of the East edge of street (see attached photo). Our concern is that as winter approaches, there will be opportunities for water/snow/ice to accumulate, freeze, and actually cause *more* damage to the original repair work. Can we please request to have the City come check out this repair work to see if it needs additional work? Thank you so much in advance! - Rob Aney robaney@yahoo.com
