The street light in front of my neighbors house in front of 422 E University is intermittent. It turns itself off at random times and then comes back on a few minutes later. This problem has persisted for several months. I tried reporting this online to Duke Energy, but their online tool doesn't show a street light on this block, so I'm hoping you can find out who takes care of this light and forward the information to the appropriate people. One of my constituents is wondering why there are not more 25 MPH speed limit signs on Grant St. between Grimes and Hillside. Are you still in process of putting these up? Also, there need to be more on Washington and Lincoln along the same stretch, she says.

The sidewalk to the east of our front steps is cracked. A large mud puddle stays there, such that we need to keep it covered in straw in order for pedestrians not to slip and get muddy. This section is just next to the new sidewalks planned for the intersection of Fairview and Dodds streets. Including this segment in your replacements and repairs will allow an efficient, strategic improvement. Thank you.
