waste of city water
waste of city water
I was riding in the Woodlawn bike lane today going south and it was full of rocks and debris. It ended up popping my bike tire. Please keep the bike lanes clean, especially on busy roads like Woodlawn where riding into the road would have gotten me hit by a car.
A large and growing area of crumbling asphalt on the northwest corner of E. Maxwell Lane and Manor Dr. could use some repair. The road surface at this intersection is generally in need of repair. Storm water flow seems to be the primary culprit as storm water flows downhill south on Nanor Dr.
Our street, which is sloped downward from Dunn to N. Walnut, has water sluicing down Glendora in even a light rain. We have no storm drains or infrastructure to handle heavy rains except for the ditches some residents have dug on their own properties. I have such a ditch at 311 Glendora, and it runs very full and fast when it rains, keeping the street from flooding even more than it always does. My ditch has asphalt that is full of holes, so it needs patching- but that will only be a bandaid on what is a much larger problem... the fact that our neighborhood has no stormwater infrastructure. This causes basements to flood, and even one resident's basement wall to collapse under the floodwaters pouring down from Dunn St. Please contact me for more information, or direct me to the person who can help us. Thanks!
Sewage is flowing periodically out of the drain and toilet in CVS. A snake has been used to clear the drain line all the way to the sewer line, but sewage continues to feed upward. The pipes are full of stolen garbage and it is suspected that there may be a blockage in the sewer line itself.
I suspect a sewage line backup and my basement now has damage. Issue is persisting.
There is contiuoos water run off in the south side of brownridge (only) suggesting a broke water main
Bike lane has a lot of grass clippings and tree debris from Morningside to 10th on the southbound side of street.
I work with 3 clients with disabilities. One in a wheelchair and their property floods and the property manager tried to fix issue but it’s a huge issue. I have to wheel my client out and it is sometimes way too high. Who can help with this?
