The house at 801 W. 4th. has not been mowed for a long time. The grass is knee high, and unsightly for the neighborhood. There do not appear to be current occupants, although it has been used both as a rental property and as an Airbnb.
Thank you

The location is a lot in St. James Woods, which has been purchased but has no home construction on it. The lot is now filling up with very tall grasses/weeds. The neighborhood concern has to do with broader weed dispersion into adjoining lots/landscaping; as well as the potential to attract unwanted wildlife (e.g., rats, skunks, possums, etc.) which can easily travel to neighboring lots.

Ten days ago someone discarded two couches in the 300 block of S. Dunn St. on property maintained by the City of Bloomington. This is right by the off ramp from Atwater to S. Dunn St. I have seen a worker with a yellow, reflective Street Department vest mowing this property so I don't know who should take care of the disposal of the couches and cushions scattered across the lawn. I wanted to bring it to your attention. Please contact me with any questions. Thanks.
