can the fire dept. check my alarm monitors = co, et. smoke detectors. Thanks .
Fire at eagle pointe golf resort last night in kitchen. Employees was told by owner to not call fire department. Please keep me confidential.
Chad Ackerman is a the business owner of Ackerman Auto Detail located at 630 South Patterson Drive. This morning, after coming to work he found that his workplace was full of smoke. This is due to the common occurrence of the homeless population using the space behind his business as a place where they light fires. These fires are uncovered and lead to a very toxic smell. This is a potential danger to the business, employees, customers and city of Bloomington.
Hi Team, My name is Jane and I was researching prevention of house fires after having one in my home. I am emailing you because I came across your website at: http://www.bloomington.in.gov/documents/viewDocument.php?document_id=2212 Firstly, thank you, I found your website very useful. I have also written a page that may be worth adding to your site. It's a guide I decided to write about the prevention of fires with a fun section for kids too. I have posted it at: http://householdquotes.co.uk/keep-safe-from-fire/ I would love to know what you think. Kind Regards, Jane
I saw some neighborhood kids playing on what looked like our neighbors' power or phone box units. The kids were jumping and pushing them and pretending (I think?) to get shocked. One kid looked like he was trying to pull one over. I am concerned that they will get hurt or that a fire will start due to the damage. When I went to tell them to stop, they had run off.
on Oct 15, 2014 Bloomington Township Fire Department responded to a fire at my mobile home. they responded quickly and professionally we want to say thank you. God bless you all
Open burning withing the city.
To whom it may concern, I am not sure who I should address my question to, so please forward this question to the correct person. I am getting married on May 3, 2014. At the end of our ceremony, we would like to go outside and release paper lanterns to float off into the sky. It dawned on me that I should ensure this idea is permissible within city limits. Please let me know ASAP. Thank you.
My next door neighbor, Carl James, (at 703 W. 7th Street) burns trash and plastic and Styrofoam in his wood stove. The smoke is heavy, black and acrid. It is polluting the air. I think there must be regulations against burning trash like this. We have asked him not to do this and explained to him that it creates toxins in the air. A group of neighbors chipped in and bought him two ricks of wood recently, but his son took most of it and resold it. We do not know what else to do. Can someone from the City talk to him about this? Thank you.
