Please forward this praise to the appropriate dept: If we haven't thanked the appropriate department already, on behalf of Bloomington Transit I want to give an enormous thanks to all the staff responsible for clearing the roads so that BT's fixed route and BTaccess (disabled transport) could successfully maintain operations last week during the awful cold and snow. The tree branches hanging over the sidewalk connecting the B-Line to the parking lot and Rail Trail are extremely low. I keep hitting my helmet on them as I bike through. It would be nice to get these trimmed back. Thanks!

The sidewalks between the B-Line Trail and Madison Street at the 3rd Street bridge are getting overgrown. Both sidewalks on the north and south sides of 3rd Street running west from the trail to Madison have low hanging trees and overgrown shrubs. There is also a lot of loose sand on the south sidewalk of 3rd Street overpass. As the only way onto the Trail at 3rd, this all makes for an adventure. On my Bicycle I have to be very careful. I'd like to see this trimmed. I bike commute on the trail from the south to the area of 3rd and Madison. My roommate bike commutes to Cowork. I see others use the sidewalks too. Could be much safer. Thanks!

The sidewalk along 13th (north side of the road) as you head west from Indiana Avenue has a lot of loose gravel on it. Looks like runoff from the power substation located right there.

In front of 1006 E 1st, there is a hole between the sidewalk and tree plot that I'm concerned may be quite large and have the potential to compromise the integrity of the sidewalk. It's not visible from the road - just when you're standing next to the tree in the tree plot there. It may not be a problem, but it might be a good idea to have someone take a look.

A private limestone retaining wall has fallen on to a public sidewalk on Euclid street between west 2nd street and Howe street. The sidewalk is blocked and is a safety hazard. Someone could trip over the pile of stone and possibly file a lawsuit against the city. Also, the fallen wall has been there since January. Thanks, Chris.

The bushes are overgrown and cover the sidewalk. It is hard to walk on the sidewalk without hitting ones head on the bushes.
