There is a very large pot hole in front of my house. I reported this a couple months ago. This is on a big hill and kids ride their bikes down the hill fast. It is only a matter of time before one hits the pot hole and hurts themselves. Please note that this has been repaired before. Water is washing out the repairs, so something more permanent needs to be done in the long run. In the short run, it would improve safety if the hole was at least filled.

Our water pressure has been very low all evening and continues to worsen. We do not see any signs of leaks in our house. However, there has been a construction/digging crew near our house all day. I believe they may be digging for fiber optic cables.

Several weeks ago the new fiber cables were buried along E Hillside Dr. I was working from home when one of the workers knocked on the door and asked if I had water. I did, and so did the neighbors. The worker said he ran into water, but if we all had service, then he wasn’t going to worry about it. I didn’t think anything of it. Now, we have noticed there is water coming up out of a spot along the sidewalk. I realize the picture is not really telling you much, but it’s like a small mud pit and water is coming up out the ground there. This is within the 10’ strip that the City of Bloomington owns along this section of Hillside.

My next door neighbor has set up a unhoused encampment next door. They have unleashed dogs we can climb under the fence and there is no access to water, trash disposal, or bathroom facilities. No discussion was had with me prior to the encampment moving in and it is preventing me or my dog being able to use our backyard.

We walked by and saw clear water bubbling up from a hole in the ground near the sidewalk on the south side of the street. Seems like something is broken? Possible water main break?

City sewer line is clogged and water is backing up into basement. Mann Plumbing has been there and the line from the home to the city sewer is clear and they found standing water in the city sewer line. Thank you.

Daniel Street from Forrester to the west, to Olcott on the east, has numerous trees that are mature with low hanging branches. Not only are the trees dropping limbs routinely that find their way to the sewer drains and are causing clogs and water to build up on the road, but they are a hazard as personal vehicles and commercial vehicles travel this section of road daily and hit them and/or vehicles are constantly swerving to miss them and narrowly miss hitting approaching vehicles, and there have been near misses with people on bikes, walkers, kids, etc. The city needs to take the time to send out crews to work this entire road and take down all the low limbs on these trees so that there are none coming in contact with vehicles, and really trim them back so not hanging over the road. Hello! Trying to narrow down a potential issue. Water has a skunk like smell too it this morning. I noticed it and then my wife noticed it in a separate bathroom. Are there additional reported issues in our area?
