These trash cans have remained this week for weeks. Not clear anyone is living in the house. It’s an eyesore and interferes with those of us who walk along Swain
Please do so to reduce the city deer population. They destroyed my plantings again as they always do. Hundreds of $ at Mays Greenhouse wasted. It’s ridiculous. It’s constant and unrelenting. Maybe they will attack a child or something to gain your attention!!’
Cars and buses regularly speed on this street, often exceeding 35 miles per hour. Due to their speed, they are unable to stop at the stop signs—including city buses. I am requesting that a speed limit sign be installed, ideally one that displays drivers’ actual speed (similar to those used in school zones). Our street and its connection to First Street have effectively become an unofficial bypass for east–west and west–east traffic, including city buses. This is a residentially zoned area with pedestrians, cyclists, children, pets, and wildlife. The sidewalks are narrow, and vehicles—especially buses—traveling at high speeds pose a serious risk. I have personally witnessed both buses and cars run stop signs, even when pedestrians, families with baby carriages, and cyclists are present. The cars/buses still don't stop and merely drive around the "obstacles." At a minimum, a visible speed limit sign should be installed—preferably one that tracks and displays speeds.
Parking lot changes have removed vehicle ability to go through side of western most parking area. Vehicles cannot turn around, and the parking lot striping is too short that vehicles now all exceed the length of the striped areas/spots. The parking space number has also now been increased on the western most covered area.
Vehicle appears to have been abandoned. Hasn't moved in over a week. Southeast quadrant of Bloomfield Rd and S Oakdale Dr intersection.
The grass in northern part of Bryan park appears to be wet. I saw water coming out of the ground near the basketball court. There are puddles in some places and in most places the grass is just soaking wet. Since there is no active rain, I thought that amount of water is unuy. And the water coming out of the ground could indicate a water leak. I attached a picture of the hole I saw. There is water coming out of it. But I couldn't attach a video from it here.
