Driving home on I-69, I foolishly decided to stop in Bloomington for s bite to eat. I parked on Kirkwood where another car was parked. I parked at a meter that was not posted "No Parking". I went into a pizza place, ordered, and came back to my car withing 5 mins. I was sitting in the car when a policeman approached. He was very rude, informing me it was a No Parking Zone. It appears I did not see the sign, as it was on the ground, and I should have been looking on the ground before parking. I made it very clear that I was just there for a moment, but still got a ticket. A ticket that had to be paid within a week or it doubled. That's quite a racket you have going there. I learned a very valuable lesson though. Bloomington is not a welcoming town for visitors who don't know the rules. I will not be stopping in Bloomington on any future trips on I-69.

Citation # Q1500545: I put my credit card into the wrong meter (chose the one facing my parking slot) & didn't realize I had to use Meter/Space Number 102B (because it was facing the other way). When I came out of Samira Restaurant, I still had 16' of unexpired time (in the "wrong" meter). I hope you will understand that I actually did pay for my parking space. Thank you

Please investigate the current parking problem at 814 S. Eastside Drive. The occupants are blocking the sidewalk and parking numerous cars in the street -interfering with traffic).

Parking Violations 814 South Eastside Drive. Every day the illegal number of tenants at 814 S. Eastside Drive block my father's (a senior citizen) ability to get out of his driveway because they are violating parking ordinances (Parking in the street -and extending out of driveways). went downtown to shop for the holidays. Was late to the meter by 5 minutes. got a $20 ticket. Goodbye downtown. Hello amazon. Cheaper, easier, and they don't give these outrageous fines. Thought you might want to know. I am sending a letter to the Book Corner, and another to Goods for Cooks, to let them know they will never see me again. Not a great idea on your part, if you asked me. For the sake of downtown and these businesses, I hope I am wrong. But I doubt it.

There are quite a few meters in the downtown area that do not have the green sticker with the parking area, and therefore cannot be paid for using the Parkmobile App. I usually do not have change, and don't like to use my credit card in the meters. Can you do an inventory of this issue and replace the stickers?

Bedrak Café- will tow vehicles after hours for $200.00. Their signs are nowhere near the parking spots that are considered 'private'.
