Thank you Jeff & Cody for a job well done repairing/patching the area where the street meets our driveway! This is my first time using UReport. I did not expect such a quick response to the UReport I submitted Friday evening. Your courteous & polite personalities represent the City of Bloomington well! I very much appreciate all you do! Thanks again! Lori Brenner

Hi!
I was checking out some articles on your site for DUI information. http://bloomington.in.gov/documents/viewDocument.php?document_id=5796
Great stuff!
I couldn't help but notice you linked to that BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) calculator.
I also love that resource.
In fact, there is no calculator on that page. It inspired me to create a more thorough and up-to-date version. Here is the link in case you want to check it out.
https://www.selectsr22insurance.com/blood-alcohol-content-level-bac-calculator-2016-guide-on-dui/
It might be worth a mention in your article.
Either way, keep up the awesome work!
Cheers,
Alex

For years I have problems with my neighbor's trash in my yard. His cans are on Habitat Street, his own private dump, despite a City Ordinance prohibiting it. He does not empty his trashcans, he does not cover them; animals take trash to nearby yards and other parts of City property.
In the past, Wykoff was not helpful, and Mayor Kruzan was not interested, and the police had other priorities.
Recently it has bounced around in City bureaucracy for months: HAND, the Street Department, back to HAND, over to Title VI, back to HAND, and back to the Street Department, which they will not enforce the Ordinance. Trash still appears in my yard.
There must be organizational and management issues, but the results are the same: no solutions. The appearance is either incompetence or corruption.
I am tired of the run-around; I have lost the use of my property and it's full value. I just want the cans moved back on his property, away from mine. If the cans are not a real problem, then they can not be a real problem on his own property. The next escalation goes to the Police Department, the Herald-Times, or the Courts.

there is a lot of blood splattered on the east side curb of the Poplars Building on 7th and Dunn - next to the alley behind the Poplars, please clean it up.

Our neighbor has been dumping motor oil in our yard for years. We haven't repoted it in fear of reprizals, but he is poising our trees. To truly "catch him" for remediation costs for example, do we need an actual photo of him doing it? He is the only one doing mechanic work (LOTS!) on our street, and we live right next to him. I am afraid for our health.

There is a barking dog tethered to a tree many, many hours a day at 922 W. 8th. Not sure if it is 10+hours, but it was there at the beginning and end of the day (before 9am and after 9pm) every day this week.
